Unlike traditional methods such as wood furring in wall applications, Ventgrid12™ is made almost completely from “post-consumer” recycled plastic. It's rigidity and 4' x 8' sheet format makes for an even air gap, easily shimmed and installed in a fraction of the time.. Detailing for consistent airflow around windows/doors and other penetrations is also made simple with Ventgrid12™. It's floating dimple design allows air to travel in all directions while the installation of Ventrim10™ at the top and bottom of the wall  keeps insects out of the drainage plane.​
